FERROXIDE® Red 216M by Oxerra (formerly Cathay Industries) is a precipitated red iron oxide pigment. It is micronized for good rheology at high solids and easy dispersion in a variety of systems. It is designed for use in liquid colorants, plastics, rubber and other speciality applications.
  • It meets ASTM C979-82 standards for color pigments used in cement.
  • It exhibits color-stability below 400°C and does not undergo any chemical change up to 1000°C.
  • It offers alkali-, chemical- & weather resistance, reliability & consistent quality, and stability under exposure to sunlight & UV radiation.
  • FERROXIDE® Red 216M is suitable for articles that come in contact with food (21CFR).
