CathayTherm™ F8800MS by Oxerra (formerly Cathay Industries) is a highly micronized inorganic pigment. It is a brown composed of iron oxide red and manganese oxide. It is stable in temperatures up to 500°C (932°F) or higher in some applications.
- Exhibits excellent opacity, acid-, alkali and chemical resistance.
- It is readily dispersible in a wide range of resins and polymers and is free from heavy metals.
- CathayTherm™ F8800MS offers exterior durability and compatibility.
- It provides easy dispersion using high-speed impeller (Cowles-type) milling equipment, as well as single- and twin-screw extruders.
- It is suitable for high-temperature applications, including plastics.
