Polywax™ EP-700 copolymer by NuCera Solutions (Chase) acts as a release agent. It is a copolymer of propylene and ethylene. The addition of propylene results in short chain branching, which reduces the polymer’s crystallinity. Possesses controlled branching and controlled/narrow molecular weight distribution. Polywax™ EP-700 copolymer is used to enhance slip, anti-block and mold release properties in plastics processing, especially in applications involving thermoplastic elastomers.
