RiKAFAST® EDXP by NJC Europe is a high performance bis(p-ethylbenzylidene) sorbitol-based clarifying agent. It is a proprietary acetal sorbitol blend with excellent haze. Imparts superior clarity across a wide range of processing temperatures and improved aesthetics. Designed for processing by compounding, injection blow molding and thermoforming/ vacuum forming. Recommended for appliances, food packaging in cups, pots & trays, bottles, houseware articles and food containers. It is listed in ELINCS, REACH, TSCA, MITI, DSL, AICS, ECL, IECSC and PICC. It is also approved in many countries for use in food contact applications. RiKAFAST® EDXP is used in concentration between 0.18% and 0.4% in polypropylene homopolymer and random copolymer.
