RiKAFAST® EDX by NJC Europe is a high performance bis(p-ethylbenzylidene) sorbitol-based clarifying agent. Imparts superior clarity across a wide range of processing temperatures and improved aesthetics. It is a proprietary acetal sorbitol blend with excellent haze. Recommended for appliances, food packaging in cups, pots & trays, bottles, houseware articles and food containers. Designed for processing by compounding, injection blow molding and thermoforming/ vacuum forming. It is listed in ELINCS, REACH, TSCA, MITI, DSL, AICS, ECL, IECSC and PICC. It is also approved in many countries for use in food contact applications. RiKAFAST® EDX is used in concentration between 0.18% and 0.4% in polypropylene homopolymer and random copolymer.
