RiKAFAST® DXG by NJC Europe is a free flowing, high performance clarifying agent based on bis(3,4-dimethylbenzylidene)sorbitol (DMBS). Designed for processing by compounding, injection blow molding and thermoforming/ vacuum forming. Exhibits low melting point than standard DMDBS resulting in excellent haze and faster incorporation into the polymer melt, eliminating white spots. Imparts superior clarity and enhanced physical properties. Recommended for appliances, food packaging in cups, pots & trays, bottles, houseware articles and food containers. It is listed in ELINCS, REACH, TSCA, MITI, DSL, AICS, ECL, IECSC and PICC. It is also approved in many countries for use in food contact applications. RiKAFAST® DXG is used in concentration between 0.18% and 0.4% in polypropylene homopolymer and random copolymer.
