GWFM -12

GWFM -12 by New Color Chemical is a special effect thermochromic pigment. It allows for a visual response to changes in temperature. It is composed of microcapsules that change color reversibly. When the temperature is raised to a specified temperature the pigment goes from colored to colorless. The color returns to the original color as the pigment is cooled down. Its particle size is less than 6 microns (97%). The color and temperature can be selected by the user. It can withstand heat up to 280°C. It is non-toxic, harmless, non-radioactive and has good chemical stability. It is compatible with rubbers. GWFM -12 is used in plastic cups, packaging containers, kitchen appliances, drinking straws, baby feeding spoons, ice cream spoons and drink stirrers / swizzle sticks.
