Exfola™ by Mitsui Chemicals acts as a surface modifier for polyolefin, such as polyethylene and polypropylene. It combines the characteristics of both polyolefin and silicone. Suitable for injection molded parts, or extruded articles and film. It enhances releasability, water & oil repellency, lower coefficient of friction, abrasion resistance and surface smoothness. Applicable for polyolefin film, sheet, containers and package. Exfola™ is available as Polyethylene-based (PE) Masterbatch and Polypropylene-based (PP) Masterbatch.
