BLS® 3039

BLS® 3039 by Mayzo is 2-Propenoic acid, 2-cyano-3,3-diphenyl-, 2-ethylhexyl ester. Acts as a UV absorber and light stabilizer. Exhibits strong UV absorbance, especially in the UV-B region, chemically non-interacting with reactive monomers and metal-based catalysts, suitable for use with optical brighteners due to its low long wavelength UV absorbance, non-discoloring, chemically non-interacting with reactive monomers and polymerization catalysts. BLS® 3039 is compatible with polyurethanes, styrenic polymers, polyesters, polyamides, and acrylics. Recommended dosage 0.1-2% by weight, depending upon the substrate, processing conditions, end use, and other performance requirements. It has a shelf life of 2 years.
