2-hydroxy-4-methoxybenzophenone. Acts as a benzophenone-type ultraviolet absorber. It is non-discoloring. Used for acrylics, and unsaturated polyesters. The recommended concentrations in polyolefins range from 0.05 to 1%. In unsaturated polyesters, it may be used in combination with benzotriazole UV absorbers such as BLS 1328 and/or with HALS such as BLS 1239R or BLS 292.
