Benetex®OB Plus by Mayzo is 2,5-Thiophenediylbis(5-tert-butyl-1,3-benzoxazole). Acts as an optical brightener, fluorescent whitening agent. It is heat resistant, solvent soluble, chemically stable and easier to dissolve and/or disperse as compared to conventional product forms of larger particle size. It is more easily dispersed than other optical brighteners, has a brilliant, bluish white effect that compensates for yellowing, exhibits good light fastness and low volatility, resistance to heat, FDA cleared for use in all polymers, highly compatible with a wide range of organic substrates and solvents. Benetex®OB Plus by Mayzo is compatible with PVC, polyethylene, polypropylene, cellulose acetate, polystyrene, polycarbonate, acrylics, polyurethane, linear polyester, polyamides. Recommended dosage is 0.005-0.1%. It has a shelf life of 2 years.
