Mistron® Vapor RE by Magris Performance Materials is a high-purity, finely micronized, platy microcrystalline talc. It improves processability, mechanical properties, and permeability resistance. It is used to reduce viscosity and nerve, and to increase extrusion rate and quality.
  • It also improves the dispersion of carbon black and precipitated silica.
  • It provides an optimum balance of reinforcement and processability in rubber applications due to its unique microcrystalline structure and engineered particle size distribution.
  • It is available in powder, densified, and compacted forms.
  • The platy structure of Mistron® Vapor RE significantly enhances barrier properties.
  • It improves impermeability, swell resistance, and the aging properties of thermoset rubber compounds.
  • It also improves tensile properties, fatigue resistance, toughness, and durability.
  • It is suitable for use in rubber formulations.
