Mistron® Vapor by Magris Performance Materials is a high-brightness, high-purity, platy talc-based filler. It is also offered in compacted form to enhance flow and reduce dusting. It is used to control pitch in all types of pulp and paper mills.
- It reduces melt viscosity at high shear rates in injection molding and extrusion processes, resulting in increased melt flow and improved surface quality of extrudates.
- Mistron® Vapor also imparts fire retardancy due to its platy morphology, forming a barrier that reduces the amount of combustible gas reaching the surface.
