Cimpact® 699 by Magris Performance Materials is talc-based filler. It is of high purity, very platy ultrafine talc with excellent top size control. It is recommended for efficient crystal nucleation, as well as very good stiffness, HDT, dimensional stability and improved impact strength and aesthetics in high performance plastics and plastic films.
- It is used in plastics mainly for nucleation of semi-crystalline plastics, such as polyolefins, polyamides and polyesters.
- It could also be used to reinforce plastics while maintaining good impact resistance.
- It can be used to provide the best balance of reinforcement and processability, reduced compound viscosity, improved extrusion rate and quality and reduced die swell and nerve.
- It reduces anisotropy in thermoplastic elastomers while improving reinforcement, tear resistance and processability.
- It also reduces permeability and improves the aging properties of rubber compounds and thermoplastic elastomers.
