POLYBATCH® ASPA 2485 by LyondellBasell is an anti-static agent. It provides slip properties. The haze is minimally affected by its addition while the wetting tension is kept high after corona treatment.
- It does not contain undesirable slip additives.
- POLYBATCH® ASPA 2485 has a low vapor pressure and generates little smoke at the die and in the TDO, resulting in fewer breaks caused by droplets.
- It is recommended for use with an anti-block masterbatch POLYBATCH® ABPP 05.
- It is used in the production of CPP/BOPP films.
- Its recommended dosage rate is 6-8% for 12 micron, 4-6% for 15 micron and 3-4% for 20 micron.
- It is FDA recognized.
