Uniplex 84 by LANXESS is a general-purpose, citric acid ester plasticizer exhibiting good compatibility with a wide range of resins and polymers, including PVC, PVdC, PVAc, polyacrylates and cellulose acetate. It is characterized by a moderate gelling behavior with a large number of polymers including PVC. It possesses high efficiency and good softening capacity. It is applicable in PVC and PVdC food packaging, plasticized articles intended to come into contact with food like drink bottle and food jar caps, transparent soft PVC articles. It is also used in children toys, cellulose acetate films and milling lubricant for aluminum foil or sheet steel. Uniplex 84 has a shelf life of 2 years.
