Santoweb® H

Santoweb® H by Lanxess is a treated cellulose fiber product that provides reinforcement for uncured and cured rubber compounds. It also functions as a filler. It is suitable for low-pressure hoses, gaskets, and diaphragms.

• Reduces cut growth rate and enhances product stiffness, and modulus in both stress and compression mode of EPDM and IIR compounds.
• Improves strength and reduces die swell and cold flow. It does not cause compound staining.
• Maximizes the bonding of the fibers to the rubber matrix.
• It should be used with a methylene donating chemical for applications in which adhesion of the fiber to the rubber matrix is critical.
• Provides green strength with loadings of 1-4 % by weight, increased flexural stress at levels of 5-15% by weight, and very significant fiber reinforcement at 10-20% by weight.
• Santoweb® H has a shelf life of 2 years.
