Macrolex® Red 5B by LANXESS is a soluble dyestuffs-based pigment. It offers high solubility in solvents. It is an extremely pure and have a very low amount of impurities. It is suitable process conditions for engineering plastics like polystyrene, PS, SB, ABS, SAN, PMMA, PC, PVC-U, PPO, PA6/PA6.6 and PET.
  • During extrusion and injection molding of PC, the dyes have to withstand temperatures up to over 350°C.
  • It is more eco-nomic to store, transport and processing.
  • It exhibits high heat stability, good light fastness and weather resistance.
  • It is cost effective and offers good flow properties.
  • It is ideal dye for automatic weighing and continuous manufacturing processes.
  • It offers maximum color yield, high reproducibility of color formulations irrespecti.ve of the dispersing speed of the equipment used.
  • It provides high color strength, outstanding brilliance.
  • It is used for food packaging, children's toys made of plastic and food contact applications.
  • It complies with regulations of REACH, RoHS.
