ABIETA™ DRS 314K by KRATON is a potassium salt of dehydrogenated/partially hydrogenated rosin-based emulsifier. It is used in the polymerization process of SBR, NR, polychloroprene and acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene plastics. It is produced as an aqueous solution stable against phase separation if the temperature does not drop below the freezing point. In this additive, the neutralization is carried out with potassium hydroxide solution. ABIETA™ DRS 314K can be applied in aqueous systems and is also suitable for the preparation of pigments and air-entraining agents.
