Kohshylmer® DMAA™ (N,N -Dimethyl acrylamide)

Kohshylmer® DMAA™ (N,N -Dimethyl acrylamide) is a reactive diluent by KJ Chemicals. Designed for UV curable resins and used in paper industry as a dry strength agent. Shows excellent compatibility and readily copolymerizes with other vinyl monomers. Its homopolymers exhibit high hygroscopic properties regardless of the non-ionic structure. In the presence of persulfate, the crosslinking reaction between Kohshylmer® DMAA™ (N,N -Dimethyl acrylamide) and acrylamide proceeds in an aqueous solution of a DMAA™-acrylamide copolymer due to dehydrogenation of N-substituted methyl groups.
