K-KAT® XK-617 by King Industries is an effective catalyst designed for 100% solids 2K urethanes. Suitable for the reaction of isocyanates and polyols with hydroxyl groups used in the production of cast elastomers. It is an organometallic complex specially formulated to be an alternative to mercury catalysts without the toxicity concerns. Provides gel times and cure properties similar to mercury catalysts. K-KAT® XK-617 has a shelf life of 12 months and is recommended at a dosage rate of 0.1 to 1.0 %.
