K-KAT® XK-604 by King Industries is an effective catalyst for the reaction of isocyanates and polyols with hydroxyl groups used in the production of cast elastomers. Designed for 100% solids 2K urethanes. Provides gel times and cure properties similar to mercury catalysts. It is an organometallic complex specially formulated to be an alternative to mercury catalysts without the toxicity concerns. K-KAT® XK-604 is recommended at a dosage rate of 0.1 to 0.5 % and has a shelf life of 12 months.
