Mediaplast PM by Kettlitz Chemie is a synthetic aromatic plasticizer based on polyalkylbenzene (bi- and trialkylated aromatics). It is free of sulfur & its derivates and has high degree of saturation, therefore the produced rubber articles show excellent mechanical properties. Due to very low setting point of
approx. - 50 °C, the finished products also have an extraordinary cold flexibility. Mediaplast PM is mainly recommended for the use in elastomers with low to medium polarity, i. e. NR, IIR, BR, SBR, EP(D)M for example, but also CR, CM/CSM, EVA and PNR.
