CS 321

CS 321 by KCC Basildon (Momentive) is a chopped strand fiber glass (E-glass) manufactured by low-alkali glass compositing under high temperature followed by the Bushing's nozzle process. It exhibits excellent thermostability, durability and electrical insulation. It possesses higher tensile strength than steel. It is strong, does not burn in fire, and offers excellent chemical resistance. It is suitable for reinforcing PC (polycarbonate), PET (polyethylene terephthalate) and PBT (polybutylene terephthalate). It is processed by extrusion. Possible applications of CS 321 include industrial FRTP, such as electrical/electronic parts, office supplies, vehicles, and machinery parts.
