Ultraviolet Absorbent UV-9

2-Hydroxy-4-methoxy-benzophenone. It is a high-efficienct UV radiation absorbing agent. It is capable of absorbing UV radiation of 270-340 nm wavelength, but does not absorb visible light. It is well stable to light and heat and even do not decompose below 200°C. It appears as a light yellow crystalline powder and is particularly applicable to light colored transparent products. Applicable to various plastic products, particular effective to polyvinyl chloride, polystyrene, polyurethane, acrylic resin, light colored transparent furniture, with the dosage of 0.1-0.5%.
