TIPAQUE™ BLACK SG-101 by Ishihara Sangyo Kaisha is an IR-reflective black pigment. It is a chromium-free, neutral black pigment composed of calcium titanium manganese oxide (Ca, Ti, Mn)O₃. It helps suppress temperature rise of materials. It is designed for heat-shielding applications.
  • It reduces NIR absorption across a wide range of dark shades, not just pure black.
  • It offers excellent reflectance in the near-infrared region (780–2500 nm).
  • It maintains a true black appearance while reflecting infrared radiation and reducing surface temperature build-up.
  • It may also contribute to improved recyclability of black plastics.
  • It helps suppress temperature rise of materials.
  • It is used in PVC, AES, ABS, PP and recycled PE & PP.
  • TIPAQUE™ BLACK SG-101 is suitable for textiles such as clothing.
