FT-4000 by Ishihara Sangyo Kaisha is a columnar rutile titanium dioxide pigment. It is coated with antimony-doped tin oxide (SnO2/Sb) thin layer. It is used in lower amounts to achieve electrical conductivity compared to acicular electroconductive titanium dioxide, such as FT-3000. FT-4000 offers surface resistivity in chlorinated polypropylene resin. It is suitable for applications requiring conductive TiO₂.
