Capa® 6506 by Ingevity is a high molecular weight linear polyester derived from caprolactone monomer. Exhibits UV-resistance, excellent strength and abrasion resistance. Offers outstanding flexibility even at low temperatures, gloss and hydrolytic stability. It shows a lasting outdoor performance for polyurethane materials. It is easy to process, shape and apply. This product is not self-igniting, is stable at normal conditions and is insoluble in water. It is compatible with a wide range of common thermoplastics, incompatible with acids & bases and soluble in several common solvents, such as aromatic hydrocarbons, halocarbons and some ketones. Capa® 6506 is chemically identical to Capa® 6500 but supplied in powder form.
