Capa® 2200 by Ingevity is a standard grade with low molecular weight, linear polyester diol derived from caprolactone monomer, terminated by primary hydroxyl groups. It is supplied as a waxy white solid. It is non-toxic, odorless and biodegradable in nature. It exhibits consistent crystallization, excellent strength, abrasion resistance, low viscosity and low impurity content. It offers superior performance, outstanding flexibility even at low temperature and lasting outdoor performance. It shows strong adhesion on difficult and sensitive substrates including leather under demanding conditions. It is specially developed as an intermediate for the production of high quality polyurethane elastomers. It is applicable for automotive and industrial segment including seals & gaskets. Capa® 2200 complies with AICS, DSL, NDSL, CIECS, EINECS/ ELINCS,
ENCS, KECI, NZIoC, PICCS and TSCA regulations.
