IP1211 by Ingenia is an antistatic and slip masterbatch. It is a proprietary compound of high purity glycerol monostearate (GMS) and erucamide in an LLDPE carrier resin. It is used as an internal additive to control surface resistivity on the surface of the film over an extended period of time, effectively reducing static cling and minimizing dust accumulation.
- The slip agent in the formulation causes a reduction in coefficient of friction occurs slowly after extrusion and lasts for a considerable length of time, as the erucamide will slowly but continuously migrate to the surface to replace the amount lost from the surface.
- It is designed for blown and cast film, LDPE, LLDPE and HDPE film applications.
- It does not require dispersion aids, waxes or stearates.
- IP1211 may be used to meet the requirements of Title 21 of the U.S. Federal Code of Regulations and CONEG.
