OPTICAL BRIGHTENER OB-1 (Hubei Hongxin Chemical)

OPTICAL BRIGHTENER OB-1 by Hubei Hongxin Chemical is a 2,2-(4,4’-vinyl biphenyl) dual benzoxazole. It acts as an optical brightener. It is widely used in polyester fiber such as nylon and many kinds of plastics. It offers excellent thermal stability and whitening effect. It is compatible with PP, PVC, ABS, PA, PS, PC and PBT. Recommended dosage level of OPTICAL BRIGHTENER OB-1 in polyester fiber is 75-300 ppm and for rigid PVC ,PP, ABS, nylon, PC is 20-50 ppm. It is insoluble in water but soluble in high boiling point organic solvent such as phenyl chloride.
