AKTISIL VE by Hoffmann Mineral is an amorphous, cryptocrystalline silica and lamellar kaolinite coated with various organofunctional silanes and/or paraffins. Acts as a functional filler either on its own or in combination with other non-reinforcing or reinforcing fillers. Produced by modifying the surface with vinylsilane. Improves tensile strength and resistance to liquids. Reduces tension, abrasion and compression set. Electric insulation resistance remains high and constant after storage in water. Recommended for molded products and seals, profiles, hoses, cable sheaths and cable insulation, sponge rubber products, window seals and window sealing. Compatible with elastomers like CM, CSM, EPM, EPDM, EVM, HNBR, pre-crosslinked IIR.
