HexTow® HM63 by Hexcel is a continuous, high-strength, high-performance, high-modulus PAN-based carbon fiber. It is surface treated and sized to enhance handling, interlaminar shear strength, compressive strength, and overall structural performance.
  • It has high tensile strength, modulus, as well as shear and compressive strength that allows structural designers to achieve both higher safety margins for both stiffness and strength critical applications.
  • It is recommended for for use in premium sporting goods and industrial applications.
  • It is also suitable for commercial aviation, space, defense applications including aircraft, satellites and missile systems.
  • HexTow® HM63 is certified and qualified by the International Monohull Open Class Association (IMOCA).
