EMEROX® 14050 by Emery Oleochemicals is a flexible, branched EG azelate polyester polyol for high elongation foams or modifier. It is based on renewable azelaic (C9 dibasic) acids and other naturally derived acids produced via proprietary process. It has hydrophobic backbone for improved moisture resistance performance, solvent & blowing agent compatibility and adhesion. It improves tensile and tear resistance. It is structurally and functionally similar to petrochemical polyols, offering predictability and ease of use. It increases hydrophobicity with minimal hydrolytic degradation and imparts excellent aliphatic as well as aromatic hydrocarbon resistance for ester foams and as supplements for ether foams. It is eco-friendly polyol with high-renewable content and meets industry demands for both performance and sustainability. It is cost-effective replacement for petrochemical polyols. EMEROX® 14050 is used in manufacturing high quality flexible foams.
