Phoenix PX 2221 by Eckart is a pearlescent pigment. It is a free-flowing powder available in white color with satin golden reflection. It can be used in all polymers. It belongs to the versatile group of pigments which can create a wide variety of effects ranging from a soft pearl-like luster to a sparkling rainbow. It provides thermostability without loss of luster (upto 800°C), good light and weathering fastness. An improved manufacturing process gives it even greater brilliancy and color purity. Phoenix PX 2221 conforms to visual and colorimetric evaluation. The inert raw materials mica and titanium dioxide are permitted for use in food packaging and toys.
