PARALOID™ EXL-3808 by Dow is maleic anhydride grafted (MAH) polyolefin-based impact modifier. It is a low crystallinity ethylene-octene copolymer functionalized with maleic anhydride (MAH) by reactive extrusion. It displays excellent compatibility and bonding with polyamide matrices. Its low Tg, below –50°C, ensures outstanding performance at low temperatures. The fully saturated backbone of PARALOID™ EXL-3808 results in good thermal and oxidative stability yielding excellent weatherability.
