PARALOID™ EXL-2300 Impact Modifier by Dow is a general purpose, UV and heat resistant impact modifier. It is an all-acrylic core/shell based on butyl-acrylate rubber. It provides high impact strength at temperatures as low as -10°C. It possesses good heat & UV stability, excellent weatherability and good thermal and oxidative stability.
- It shows good modulus retention in glass filled systems-, melt flow retention, excellent dispersion in engineering resins and excellent processing stability.
- It offers excellent part surface finish with a good retention of part rigidity.
- It increases the toughness of PC to super-tough performance at a modifier loading as low as 3%.
- It is used to improve the properties of polycarbonate but also polyesters, polyamides and polymer blends including glass fiber reinforced compounds.
- It is recommended for durable goods & appliances, electrical & electronics-, industrial, automotive-, transportation applications, sporting and leisure equipment.
