AMPLIFY™ GR 205 by Dow is maleic anhydride modified HDPE-based polymer compatibilizer. It promotes adhesion of polyethylene to barrier polymers such as polyamide and ethylene vinyl alcohol (EVOH). Functionality of this polymer also promotes adhesion between metal, polyolefins, cellulose, polyester, polycarbonate, glass and foil. AMPLIFY™ GR 205 is used in tie layer for food packaging. It is approved by FDA.
