DoverClear™ 840

DoverClear™ 840 by Dover Chemical (ICC Industries) is a PFAS- and siloxane-free processing aid for polyethylene sheet and film. It is a standard, general-purpose grade offered in masterbatch form in LLDPE carrier. It is designed to be a workhorse for most film resins. It helps to prevent melt fracture in many different resins of melt index more than 1.

• It is mainly composed of LGP-12®, a polymeric phosphite AO which provides superior thermal stability and prevents the formation of gels in recycled material.
• DoverClear™ 840 is a greener, safer and more economically viable replacement for fluoropolymers, without sacrificing throughput due to over-lubrication.
• It is FDA approved for LLDPE only.
• Typical let down ratio ranges from 0.5-2.0%, depending on the application and equipment configuration.
