PUREstab 1010 distributed by DKSH is a high molecular weight hindered phenolic primary antioxidant and long-term thermal stabilizer. This non-discoloring grade is odorless and tasteless.
- It protects plastic and elastomers against thermo-oxidative degradation.
- It shows good compatibility, high resistance to extraction and low volatility.
- It can be used in combination with other additives such as co-stabilizers, e.g. thioethers (long term heat stabilizers), phosphites, phosphonites (secondary antioxidant), light stabilizers and other functional stabilizers.
- It is highly effective when used in combination with PUREfos 168.
- It is recommended for polyolefins, such as polyethylene, polypropylene, polybutene, olefin copolymers and EVA copolymers.
- It is also suitable for processing of polymers, such as polyacetals, polyamides and polyurethanes, polyesters, PVC, styrene homo- and copolymers, ABS, elastomers such as butyl rubber (IIR), SBS, SEBS, EPM and EPDM as well as other synthetic rubbers, natural and synthetic tackifier resins.
- Recommended dosage level is 0.05-0.1%, 0.05-0.4% for polyolefins and 0.1-0.5% for synthetic tackifier resins.
