POLYVEST® 130 distributed by DKSH is a plasticizer for rubber compounds. It acts as a modifier of resin systems and as a release agent for polyurethane foams. It is a non-functionalized, stereospecific, low viscous and unsaponifiable liquid polybutadiene grade. It has a high content of 1,4-cis double bonds including 1,4-cis double bonds (approx. 77%), 1,4-trans double bonds (approx. 22%) and 1,2-vinyl double bonds (approx. 1%).
  • It is an apolar, hydrophobic hydrocarbon resin and a highly reactive binder.
  • It exhibits high electrical insulation properties as well as high chemical-, water- & cold resistance.
  • It shows good compatibility with hydrocarbon resins, rosin resins and zinc resonates.
  • It offers good solubility in aliphatic, aromatics and ethers.
  • It is suitable for polymer printing plates, chlorinated rubber synthesis, and recycled rubber compounds.
  • It has a shelf life of one year.
  • POLYVEST® 130 is available in Canada.
