KRONOS® 2222 distributed by DKSH is titanium dioxide pigment. It is a rutile pigment produced by the chloride process and surface treated with aluminum, silicon and polysiloxane compounds.
- It imparts high durability to plastics used outdoors and gives very high brightness and a neutral tone in whites.
- This pigment possesses very high tinting strength, opacity and hiding power, provides colored systems a blue tint tone and is readily wetted and dispersed.
- It shows very high weather resistance.
- KRONOS® 2222 is suitable for use in PVC, flexible and rigid, polyolefins, polystyrene & copolymers and engineering plastics.
- It is suitable for plastics which require high outdoor durability and outstanding optical properties.
