BMI -1700 by Designer Molecules is an amorphous, low molecular weight, imide-extended bismaleimide oligomer. Exhibits excellent low pH hydrolytic resistance and thermal stability. It can be homo-cured via UV or free radical initiators to form tough, hydrophobic, cross-linked polyimides. It forms room-temperature-stable solutions in a variety of free radical reactive diluents. BMI -1700 is soluble in many common solvents such as toluene, xylene, NMP, etc. Listed in TSCA.
