C-9010-UV by Delta Tecnic is polyvinyl chloride (PVC) masterbatch. This masterbatch is formulated with pigment for outdoor applications that delay color fading in any kind of polymer. It prevents photo-oxidative degradation of the cable polymer. The pigment involved is carefully selected to avoid color loss due to UV radiation and additive to prevent degradation of the plastic due to environmental conditions. It shows good heat resistance and light fastness. C-9010-UV is used in outdoor jacketing of fiber optic cables and PVC cables.
