Blaze Orange™ ZQ-15 by DayGlo Color is a solid solution of fluorescent dyes in a thermoplastic modified polyamide resin. When the pigment is incorporated into plastic resins, it is essential that the minimum processing temperature of 350°F (175°C) is reached in order to completely melt and evenly distribute the pigment throughout the plastic to ensure complete color development. Blaze Orange™ ZQ-15 offers lower mold plate-out, increased plastic compatibility, required low processing temperatures and exhibits larger particle size to reduce dusting. Shows excellent heat stability and the maximum recommended processing temperature is 575°F.
