Hostanox® P-EPQ® pills

Hostanox® P-EPQ® pills by Clariant is a highly efficient phosphorus based secondary antioxidant. It offers high thermal stability and high solubility as well as broad compatibility.

• It prevents the thermooxidative degradation of polymers and the development of undesired color (yellowing) during melt processing.
• Possesses low dosage, high performance in color and melt flow retention during conversion process.
• Provides white application window allowing high processing temperatures and low softening temperature allowing early stage protection in extrusion process.
• Shows significant contribution to dyne level retention, low plate out, low die build-up and prevents formation of char & specks.
• Hostanox® P-EPQ® pills is recommended especially for the stabilization of polyolefins (LLDPE, HDPE, PP), ABS, PS, polybutylene, PBT, PC, PA, thermoplastic polyester and nitrile barrier resins.
• Complies with Regulation (EU) No 10/2011, CONEG, EN 71-3, FDA 21 CFR § 178.2010, Directive 2002/95/EC (RoHS), Directive 2000/53/EC and Directive 94/62/EC.
• It has a minimum shelf life of 2 years.
