SILIMER 6150 by Chengdu Silike Technology is a modified silicone wax. It is used for surface treatment of inorganic fillers, pigments & flame retardants to improve the dispersion properties. Suitable for common thermoplastic resins, TPE, TPU & other thermoplastic elastomers.
- It improves the processing performance & efficiency of materials, dispersion of powder components & fillers and gloss & smoothness (lower COF).
- It exhibits higher filler content, enhances melt flow rates & better mold release.
- It boosts color strength and shows no negative effect on mechanical properties.
- It optimizes flame retardant dispersion thereby providing a synergistic effect.
- It can be used in the pre-treatment of fillers and classical melt blending processes like single/twin screw extrusion & injection molding.
- The recommended usage level is 0.5-6%
