Zonyl™ MP 1400F by Chemours is a white free-flowing, PTFE powder-based lubricant. It is a good electrical insulator and does not absorb water. It shows resistance towards weathering and reduces plate-out and friction. It provides low surface energy and anti-stick surface. It improves lubricity and wear in plastics. In this grade surface blemishes are minimized in injection molded thermoplastic parts. It can be used at temperatures from -190°C to 250°C and is inert to nearly all industrial chemicals and solvents. Recommended use level is up to 20% for plastics, to enhance non-stick performance and tribological characteristics. Zonyl™ MP 1400F is suitable for polycarbonates, polyacetals, polyamides, polyesters, polysulfides and polysulfones.
