Curran®

Curran® by Cellucomp is a ‘microfibrillated cellulose at nano scale’ extracted from the cell wall of sugarbeet pulp and converted into granulated form using a patented process. It acts as a biofiber and available in various different forms like paste/slurry, powder, sheet and tag. Its primary state comes out as a paste (similar to mashed potatoes). The paste has 93% water and 7% cellulose fibers mixed and can be mixed with different polymers. Flaked or powdered is light for transportation purposes and is easily suspended back into water. Curran® is used for high-end skate board and fishing rod.
