Pripol™ 1012

Pripol™ 1012 by Cargill is a distilled dimer acid with high purity and optimized composition for polymer modification. It provides enhanced properties for epoxy, polyurethane, polyester and polyamide systems. It offers high toughness and excellent hydrolysis- & chemical resistance. Exhibits hydrolytic stability for a longer lifetime when exposed to humid conditions. It provides pigment wetting by allowing high loading of pigment/fillers which can bring cost savings. It contains a high concentration of difunctional components which allows for manufacturing of high molecular weight linear polymers with superior mechanical properties. Pripol™ 1012 is designed for elastomers and engineering plastics. It exhibits excellent sealant & protective properties, and flexibility down to low temperatures. It can also be used in conjunction with flexible substrates.
